Psychiatry, therapy, primary care, functional medicine, and nutrition, brought together in one science-driven approach to mental health. Care for anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, addiction, and more, in person near Haslet or by video from home.

Three steps from first contact to a plan that fits your life.
01Book online or give us a call. No referral needed, and you do not need to have it all figured out before you start.
02Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation. We look at your history, your goals, and, when it helps, lab work, so your treatment plan is built on real data rather than guesswork.
03Psychiatry, therapy, medication, primary care, functional medicine, or nutrition, whatever fits, in person near Haslet or by video, adjusted as you go.
Insurance should not be the reason you put off care. We are in network with most major insurers and check your benefits before your first visit.

We work with more plans than we can list here. Do not see yours? Ask us and we will check your coverage before your first visit.
Using insurance? You pay your plan's rate, often just a copay, not the amounts above.
See coverage and feesOne connected team treats your mental and physical health together, so your care never gets scattered across separate offices.
We build your plan on real data about your body and history, then adjust it as you go, not one-size-fits-all prescribing.
In network with most major insurers, with clear self-pay rates and no surprise pricing. Care that fits your budget.
Most people reach out with something specific in mind: anxiety that will not switch off, a mood that has been low for too long, or trauma that still runs in the background. We treat most psychiatric and mental health conditions, along with the physical health conditions that both cause and result from mental health problems and stress. You do not need a diagnosis or a referral to begin.
Anxiety can grow loudest when you are on your own with it, the worry building through a quiet evening at home. Carencia treats the thought patterns and the physical stress response behind them, and much of that care fits into a video visit.
Anxiety care at Carencia →When low mood settles in for weeks, or your moods swing further than they should, it is worth a real evaluation rather than waiting it out. Our providers check for the physical drivers too, then build a plan around your life. For depression that has not responded to other treatments, we also offer Spravato and ketamine.
Our approach to mood disorders →Trauma can keep running in the background long after the event, showing up as broken sleep, edginess, or feeling shut off. We treat PTSD and trauma with evidence-based care, much of it available from home by video.
How we treat PTSD and trauma →OCD is a loop of intrusive thoughts and the rituals that try to settle them, and it can take up more of your time than anyone realizes. It responds to the right treatment. Our providers diagnose it accurately and plan care that fits.
Read about OCD care →Addiction usually sits on top of something else, whether anxiety, depression, or trauma, and treating only the surface rarely lasts. Our addiction psychiatry works on the substance use and its roots together.
Learn how we approach addiction →Mental health does not sit apart from the rest of your body. Thyroid and hormone shifts, nutrient gaps, blood pressure, weight, and fatigue all shape how you feel. Through functional medicine, lab work, and hormone replacement, we treat these drivers, and more, alongside your mental health.
Our approach to physical health →These are the conditions we see most, and there are more. See everything we treat.
When depression has not eased with therapy or standard medication, Spravato (esketamine) and ketamine offer another path. Both are given in our office under close monitoring, as part of a plan built around you.
Learn about Spravato →Our Texas providers see patients from Haslet both in person at the Fort Worth office and by video from home.

I can't say enough good things about my psychiatrist James Moreno. From the very first appointment, I felt genuinely heard and respected. He takes the time to really listen, ask thoughtful questions, and explain things in a way that makes sense. I never feel rushed, and it's clear he truly cares about my well-being and progress. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in helping you, I highly recommend the services here!
I've been seeing Lauren for a while now, and I absolutely encourage you to come see her (and the rest of the Carencia team) if you're able. I have felt nothing but support and encouragement from her, which has made all the difference in my mental wellness journey.
I have been a client with Carencia for almost 2 years now. I could never speak highly enough about this company and all that they have done for me. They have a wonderful team and truly care about their patients.
