Lauren Brown

Lauren is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who has been board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Psychiatry to serve clients throughout their lifespan. 

Lauren received her Master of Science in Nursing from Norwich University in Vermont.  During her time as an emergency department RN, she obtained national certifications as a trauma nurse and became a sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE).  Most recently, Lauren was appointed Director of Nursing & Clinical Services for a New England-based company that provides logistics and staffing for rural hospitals.

Before nursing, Lauren spent a decade as a police officer in New Hampshire. Lauren’s combination of law enforcement and nursing paved the way for treating clients seeking to improve their mental health.  Her experience and insight from both careers made it apparent that the physical body will suffer without a clear, hopeful mind.  

She plans to utilize her training and experience to care for clients across the lifespan, especially first responders and veterans.  Lauren believes that wellness can be achieved by anyone willing to try.  Her approach to care is deeply rooted in understanding and motivation.
