Layne is a graduate intern Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) awaiting board certification, with education on caring for patients across the lifespan. She is passionate about supporting both mental and physical well-being and believes that mental health care should never be one-size-fits-all. Layne will work closely with each individual to create personalized treatment goals that support growth, balance, and overall wellness.

Layne became a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2014, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in 2019, and completed her PMHNP degree at Walden University in February 2025. With over 12 years of experience as a RN, Layne has spent her entire career in the psychiatric field. Her experience includes working directly with adults and adolescents in inpatient crisis stabilization, substance use and detox programs, as well as outpatient PHP and IOP settings.

During those years she has been a leader including Nurse Manager, Interim Director of Nursing, Infection Control Nurse, and Nurse Educator, but her true passion is working directly with patients.

She believes in authentic, transparent, patient-focused care to create a safe, non-judgemental environment for growth. Implementing achievable goals with a holistic approach to support patients on their health journey.
