What is Balanced?
Balanced is a six-week, therapist-led wellness group for people who want to feel healthier, stronger, and more grounded, but have struggled to start or stay consistent. Led by Laena Tingstrom, LPC, this virtual group takes a whole-person approach, exploring the connection between your mental health, physical health, and daily habits.
If you’ve tried to make changes before and found it hard to keep going, you’re not starting from scratch. You’re starting from experience. Balanced will help you explore the barriers that have made progress feel difficult and equip you with real strategies to move past them.
What You’ll Explore Over 6 Weeks
Mind (Weeks 1-2)
Motivation, habits, emotional blocks, stress, and the psychology behind change. Understanding why you get stuck is the first step toward getting unstuck.
Body (Weeks 3-4)
Nutrition education and realistic, sustainable health strategies. No fads or extremes, just practical approaches you can actually maintain.
Lifestyle (Weeks 5-6)
Movement, exercise basics, sleep, balance, time management, and building sustainable rhythms that support who you want to become.
Why This Matters: Mental health and physical health are deeply connected. Many mental health symptoms have physical health explanations that go unrecognized, and unaddressed physical health concerns can prevent mental health progress. Balanced is designed to help you understand these connections and take meaningful steps toward total wellness.

- Time: Wednesdays, 5:00-6:30 PM

- Investment: $75/session ($450 total)
