LMSW, Operations

Keirschen is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 20 years of mental health clinical and operational experience.  She received her undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work at the University of Texas Arlington.

Keirschen began her career conducting mental health evaluations in emergency rooms, as well as providing group and individual therapy in hospital systems and clinics.  After realizing the ongoing need for more accessible mental health care and high-quality treatment, she moved into program development and quality management.  Keirschen has served in mental health leadership roles with Fortune 500 corporations, as well as with local mental health companies.  Most recently prior to Carencia, she helped build a behavioral health telehealth program, delivering therapy and psychiatry services to patients across the country.

At Carencia, her focus is on everything “behind the care”, including administration, quality management, and business growth.  Keirschen’s favorite quote that she lives and works by is “Good is expected.  Going beyond expectations is Excellence”

In her spare time, she enjoys being involved in her children’s school and activities, supporting domestic violence prevention and mental health awareness initiatives in the DFW community,  party planning and decorating, and hiking in the mountains with her family.
