Morgan Monterroso is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) that is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center to treat clients across the lifespan. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in February, 2024 and started her work as a PMHNP with Carencia.

Prior to working at Carencia, Morgan worked as a Registered Nurse at Perimeter Behavioral Hospital and John Peter Smith Hospital where she gained experience in mental health working with patients in pediatric, adolescent, and adult behavioral health units. Throughout her 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, she served in multiple leadership roles and committees. Her experience and specialized knowledge allow her to provide excellent care to clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns.

Morgan creates a serene and supportive environment for her clients’ healing journey. She practices Psychiatry with a holistic approach for the treatment of mental health conditions and integrates psychotherapy techniques into her practice as a Nurse Practitioner.

Beyond her professional life, Morgan enjoys quality time with her family, exploring National Parks, taking leisurely walks with her dog, indulging in travel adventures, and getting lost in captivating novels.
