Brooks completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2015. After graduation he began working as a nurse on an oncology, hospice and medical surgical unit for two years, winning two awards along the way. He then became a travel nurse and worked on renal, limb preservation, surgical oncology, and medical surgical units for a year.
After those three years, Brooks became a nurse on a renal and medical surgical unit, for two years, while going to school to complete his Masters of Science at Clemson University in 2020. He started practicing family medicine in August of 2020.
Brooks resides in Tennessee. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He also enjoys traveling and watching/playing sports.
