What does a typical injections therapy session look like?
You attend your scheduled appointment and receive your monthly single-dose injection. We wait briefly to ensure there are no adverse side-effects, then you’re free to continue with your day.
How are injections administered?
Both Vivitrol and Sublocade are monthly injections and are given as a single dose. Side effects and minor and the process of receiving the injection is no different than injections you’ve received in other clinical settings.
How do I know if injections are right for me?
Injections are a part of your treatment plan only when Carencia is absolutely sure it will make a meaningful difference. When patients are struggling with addiction and substance abuse, there are occasions when a medication-assisted path is truly is right way forward.
Who Should Not Use Injections?
