Katie is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse that has been board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Psychiatry to serve clients throughout the lifespan. Katie received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University in 2011, and from there has gone on to serve organizations such as Baylor Scott and White, Texas Health Resources, Mesa Springs Hospital, and Clearfork Academy. Katie has experience in various aspects of nursing early on in her career that include Cardiology, Utilization Review, Director of Nursing, and supervisory positions in Mental Health and Substance Abuse.

She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2021.

Katie works with clients across the lifespan experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, and addiction disorders. Her treatment model emphasizes providing a calm and supportive environment in an attempt to humanize the experience of treatment while allowing clients to receive the highest quality care. She prides herself on being personable and laid back, offering a welcoming environment to build a trusting relationship with her clients during this difficult time in their lives.

In her free time, Katie enjoys traveling and is always planning her next adventure. She also plays role of chauffeur to her three children that stay busy with their athletic events and a highly superior social calendar to her own.
